Companion Card

The Mount Nebo Residents’ Association is proud to be an affiliate of the Queensland Government Companion Card program joining thousands of other businesses and organisations throughout Australia – supporting greater participation in community life for people with disability.

Companion Cards are issued to people of any age who always need attendant carer support to go out and about in their community. When a cardholder buys a ticket to an event at our community Hall they can present their Companion Card to receive free admission for their companion carer.

The cost of the free ticket is absorbed by the event organisers –meeting some obligations under anti-discrimination laws as well as showing commitment to social inclusion and community access for people with disability. For more information about Companion Card visit www.qld.gov.au/companioncard
