Learn How to Pizza Oven

Come and learn how to create a pizza and use the pizza oven in a very relaxed setting with neighbours.
$10 covers flour, yeast, cheese and sauce and we ask each participant to bring an additional ingredient to help create something special.
This is a small workshop with about 10 people and it’s a way of encouraging locals to build confidence with the pizza oven at the hall.
James Grover will coach us along and the 2025 workshop was very relaxed, a lot of fun and we all had pizza to eat for dinner.
A loose guide to the afternoon
1pm we kick off the fire in the pizza oven knowing it takes several hours to reach the right temperature
2pm we prepare the dough and leave for rising
4pm we’re preparing the pizzas and then when the oven is ready we’re good to go.
