MOUNT NEBO ROAD RECTIFICATION WORKS SEGMENT 2A, CHAINAGE 6860 to 6900 2 NOVEMBER 2018

BLACK SPOT PROJECT

Council has been successful in securing federal funding for 2 black spots on Mt Nebo Road.

Please find attached some information and concept drawings for the proposed work which is scheduled to be completed in the 2018/19 financial year.

As an update:

  • Design for the project is now underway
  • It is expected that geotechnical investigation and survey will commence next week.  There will be a number of different site visits and most of these will involve some form of Traffic Management.  It is expected that a total of 6 or 7 days of traffic management will be required within a 4 week period
  • It is expected that construction works will be carried out in the first half of 2019.  Additional information will be made available as we get closer to the construction phase of the project.
