Hello, and welcome!! You can sign up to become a voting member of the Mt Nebo Residents’ Association, and/or as a volunteer.
Membership: Membership of the Association does not require any specific ongoing responsibilities, however Members can get involved by voting on matters involving the running of the hall, and raise any issues they consider important to the community. This includes asking the Association to make requests to the appropriate government (state, local council) on matters such as roads, national parks or other matters that affect the community of Mt Nebo. There may also be an occasion where Members are asked to vote on the Property Title for the hall.
Volunteering: We welcome new volunteers for the Association to participate in activities that help fundraising activities to cover the hall’s running costs, or contribute to the upkeep of the hall and grounds. For example, we have regular events requiring people to serve food and drinks, and less frequent activities such as working bees on specific projects such as weeding or cleaning. We would also be interested to hear any specific skills for tasks such as website management or social media activities to promote events, and are very keen to welcome new members to the Management Committee.
